When you find yourself appreciating something – at any time, or even multiple times, in a week – I hope you will try to capture it in a note, photograph or any form that strikes your fancy, and send it to us.
If you get it to us each Thursday at 5pm it will be included in the next day’s post. (See left side bar for the link to send your submissions.) See this week’s entries below.
If you missed getting in your submission earlier in the week, but would like to chime in now, please leave a comment below! I can’t wait to hear what you are appreciating!

I am appreciating the mini-break at a large water park I shared this week with my boys and one of my dearest friends and her family. One of the highlights was going down the “Howlin’ Tornado” with my friend’s 12 year-old girl. The look on her face – her eyes as wide and bright as headlights – and her shrieks of delight reminded me so much of another time, over 10 years ago, when we used to splash together in her kiddie pool!

Right now it delights me to go spend time with my students & explore our amazing lymphatic system – our body’s “pool guy”!

I’m feeling a lot of gratitude for our little get away to the Great Wolf Lodge. It was wonderful to catch up with Stacey and see how her son has grown!! It was also so fun to watch my girls with their friends. In this picture they are enjoying a loud, fun game of Whoonu.

I am appreciating the subtle presence of prayer; its impact in the quality of my attention and the trust I am learning to take that my future is safe. (That’s in relative terms.)

I’m appreciating and loving all of my great “crew” of friends here in Asheville. Wish I could have taken them all to South Africa for some summertime in January.

Always an uplifting post!
By the way…I’ve named my “pool guy” Juan – he wears a loin cloth and if he were not so busy cleaning my lymphatic system I like to think he would serve me fruity adult beverages and fan me with a palm branch!
Hugs!
Hi Amy! You are hilarious! I think you need to add some more staff to your team!
Grateful for great friends on facebook and twitter.. and the gifts i’ve been given from God from birth and am just now opening to use to help others than family and a few friends.. Had first paying client 2 weeks ago..see her again next weekend. being brave enough to take leaps of faith to put myself out there to use wicked humor and reiki and my intuitive gifts to help others.
I am grateful for the rain that has been coming down here in California. Our sweet mother really needs it. I am also grateful for the sound of laughter and singing that I hear coming from downstairs as my two sweet kids play together.
Hi Beth! Thanks so much for your comment! I love how you wrote “grateful for the gifts I’ve been given from God from birth and am just now opening to use to help others” – such a lovely sentiment and one needs to be broadcast to the world!
If you come back here, please leave a link so we can “find” you and your wonderful work in the world!
Hi Ruthie! I’m so glad you are appreciating the rain! I’m appreciating warm, dry socks after my feet got wet from walking in the snowy/rainy/slushy glory that is abundant on our side of the woods today! And I always appreciate hearing about your sweet kids – can’t wait to see you all SOON!
I am grateful to be part of such a tapestry of positive vibrations!
How do I include a photo next time? Probably update my account, huh?!
Thanks!
